Dave Matthews rocked it!
The Austin 360 Amphitheater was handing out free pit upgrades for whatever reason, even though we paid for lawn seats, we got spots in the pit! This made for the best show yet for us, even though we drove 5 hours (my friend, 6 hours) and the show was postponed due to "inclement weather." The amphitheater & grounds were beautiful, plenty of refreshments around, plenty of other goodies available (for a price!), and my only complaint is the heat. I can't complain about something no one can control. Bright Light Social Hour, our opening act, were fantastic for a last-minute fill-in. I guess the Carolina Chocolate Drops couldn't stay an extra day. Would have loved to see them, but I am by no means disappointed by the fill-ins. Dave Matthews Band was, as always, awesome! They played some of my very faves! Always a great show with special guests who really rocked! This is my 10th show in 11 years, and the very best yet!
